We fought it last year, and we will fight it for academic years to come - keep the Henry Beaufort School bus!

After heavy rainfall last week, another sinkhole has appeared in Durley. It was only a few months ago when the road was reopened after lengthy repairs. Residents need a permanent fix!

They've had to endure years of constant sewage tanker movements and heavy machinery on the road. Big vehicles struggling to get up and down the country road because it has deteriorated so badly due to running sand.

I've written to Southern Water and Hampshire County Council asking for an urgent update on what they're doing to stop these problems from coming back time after time.

We need them to work together on a robust and permanent solution.

Across Wi******er district, too many families are struggling to afford basic energy needs like cooking, heating and keeping the lights on.

That's why the Lib Dems are campaigning for a new Essential Energy Guarantee.

The plan would give every household a basic energy allowance at a discounted rate, saving the average family around £100 a year — and the poorest households around £140.

It would be paid for by clawing back windfall profits from the big energy network operators.

Families deserve real help with energy bills, not more short-term sticking plasters.
