94 (Berkshire Yeomanry) Signal Squadron

94 (Berkshire Yeomanry) Signal Squadron County of Berkshire's senior volunteer unit, with over 200 years of voluntary military service.

Formed as mounted cavalry in 1794 to counter the threat of invasion during the Napoleonic wars, seen service as machine gunners, artillery, armor, infantry and now signalers, serving within the Royal Corps of Signals. Today, 94 (Berkshire Yeomanry) Signal Squadron is based in Windsor with out-stations in Chertsey and provides a rapid deployment of reliable and robust communications with the additi

onal requirement of resilience. This means that the Squadron can be called upon to support the government, police and other blue light services at little to no notice. Much of the time is spent working hard and training, one night a week in the Army Reserve Centre and at least two weekends on exercise. We currently have vacancies for: Chefs, Mechanics, Drivers, Store-men, Radio Operators, Technicians, Telecommunications Engineers, Administration Clerks and Young Officers. No previous experience necessary, we will pay you to train and then pay you comparable rates! If you are interested, please call us on 01753 860600 or come and visit us any Tuesday evening between 7pm - 9.30pm
