This weeks Little Acorn's Workshop is based around the book Harry and the Dinosaurs Go Wild. The book shows Harry figuring out how to look after animals. The activity will be making suet bird feeders to help care for the birds in you garden.

Join us on Thursday at 4pm to complete No. 16 of your 50 Things activities, Wear A Wild Crown. We will start with a reading of Where The Wild Things Are followed by making your very own flower crowns from plants and foliage from our Cut Flower Garden.

We are looking for two general assistants to help us throughout the summer covering shifts throughout the business from the Tea Room, event work and stewarding. Immediate shifts available. Would suit university students as contract will runs until mid-September. Applicants must be at least 18 in order to handle alcohol.

Shift patterns vary. Double time is paid on Bank Holidays.

Our ideal candidate should:

Have great people skills,
Able to work well under pressure
Be passionate about delivering excellent customer service
Be able to work as part of a team.
Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
Previous experience in a similar role is preferable though not essential as full training will be provided.
