About our school
We are a specialist school for children aged between 2-19 years with a broad range of physical disabilities, medical needs and associated learning difficulties. Our residential department provides further opportunities for pupils to extend their curriculum and use and apply their life skills in a home from home setting. This page enables us to share current information about our s

Hot weather update:
Just a reminder following Helen's warm weather update earlier today;
Please send your child into school in cool, comfortable clothing, with extra drinks, a sun hat if appropriate, and sun cream applied before school. Please also send sun cream into school if your child needs it reapplied during the day.

CAT Nature’s Treasures Art Project
We are delighted to share some of the work produced by pupils across school as their contribution to the Cheshire Academies Trust Natures Treasures Art competition. The pupils used examples of the wonderful treasures seen in nature in the book as inspiration for their class piece. All entries will form part of the travelling art exhibition across all CAT schools.
We look forward to sharing Hebden Green’s entries with you in school soon.
Eventually, these will form an art instillation in school for everyone to enjoy when the pass the display or visit.

The pupils have loved taking part in and seeing photos of the two Primary Sports Days which have taken place already this week.

Tomorrow is Secondary and P14 Sports Day, all families have been told what colour team their child is in.
The event will end with a full-team JELLY RELAY RACE, it might get messy- Oops!
Please send your child in with a spare set of clothes, thank you.
No water-fight in the afternoon this year due to unreliable weather but the morning promises to be lots of fun!!

In the next few weeks pupils will be transitioning to new classes, ready for September. To help support conversations about this transition at home, we have created a social story. We hope it will help to explain why 'things' may look a little different; classrooms may be different, class friends may be different, teachers and staff may be different.

Leavers Prom 2026:
We are really pleased to share some of this year's 2026 Prom photos with you.
The Prom took place last Friday at Hartford Golf Club and as you can see from the photos everyone had such a great time.
We wish this year's Leavers all our very best wishes and good luck with your new adventures.
