We're delighted to announce that another fantastic military vehicle will be joining us at Winsford Armed Forces Day!

The Daimler Dingo Scout Car Mk III will be on display, giving visitors a chance to get up close to this iconic British military reconnaissance vehicle and learn more about its important role in military history.

Come along and see this remarkable piece of military heritage alongside our other attractions, displays, entertainment, and activities.

The Winsford Town Mayor, Cllr Pauline Fitzsimmons, raised the Armed Forces Day flag today in honour of the service, dedication and sacrifice of our Armed Forces community.

We thank all serving personnel, veterans, reservists, cadets and their families for everything they do.

Join us on Sunday 28 June, from 11am to 2pm at Wharton Recreation Ground, for our Armed Forces Day event as we come together to recognise and celebrate the contributions of our Armed Forces community.

Winsford Town Council is looking for food vendors offering vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options to join us at our **Armed Forces Day Event** on **Sunday 28th June 2026**.

📍 Wharton Recreation Ground, Winsford
⏰ Event Time: 11:00am – 2:00pm

This exciting community event will celebrate our Armed Forces and bring together residents and visitors for a day of entertainment, activities, stalls and great food.
