We will be showcasing our single agent (dry powder) fire suppression system, fitted to a Merlo TF35.7 telehandler, supplied by Turney's🧯

Telehandlers in agriculture operate in dusty environments and under heavy workloads, creating ideal conditions for fires. Automatic fire suppression helps protect operators, equipment and productivity by tackling fires before they spread.

PROTECTING ROUND BALERS AGAINST FIRE 🧯

This McHale V6 740 round baler has been fitted with our dual agent automatic fire suppression system, helping protect the machine from the fire risks commonly faced in agricultural operations 🌾

Round balers work in challenging environments where dry crop material, chaff build-up, heat, bearings, moving parts, and hydraulic systems can all contribute to the risk of fire. During busy harvesting periods, fires can spread quickly and lead to costly damage and downtime

We're at the NFU's Health & Safety Day today, which is being held at Lister Wilder's Bibury depot in Gloucestershire! 🚜

It’s a great opportunity to speak with farmers, contractors and insurers about the growing fire risks facing modern agricultural machinery from high engine temperatures and electrical faults to dust build-up and long operating hours during harvest season.
