Our Move & Groove training sessions are in full swing!

Our Move & Groove team delivered some fantastic training at the Runwood Care homes in

We had great participation from the staff during our interactive training sessions, and it's safe to say everyone had a lot of fun!

Our bespoke training sessions equip you with:

🎹 A musical toolkit that you can tap into to design and deliver your own unique sessions

🎹 The confidence to run your own activities in your environment

🎹 Guidelines on staying inclusive for everyone with different abilities

🎹 Fun games, activities, songs & more that you can use in your sessions

Our Move & Groove programme is aimed at care givers, teachers and volunteers to give them the skills and confidence to deliver intergenerational sessions in their settings.

Through our sessions we are able to promote good mental health, support wellbeing and create a strong sense of community for those who we work with.

We're proud to be supported by Youth Sport Trust this amazing project.

We are deeply saddened by the news today of the passing of Her Majesty The Queen.

She was a remarkable lady who will be remembered with great fondness and affection by so many.

Move and Groove is an intergenerational music and sport collaborative project with Tupwood Gate Nursing Home Cygnet Health Care Clifton Hill School (PMLD), North Tandridge PCN, Caterham Valley Medical Practice and is a finalist for the 'Children with Disabilities' Award.

Over a 6 week period we were able to bring together children and elders for some magical workshops combining music and movement.

A huge thank-you to every single person who took part in these and for sharing your videos and photos with us.

Thank you also to IMM-Music and Youth Sport Trust for helping bring the generations together, spreading smiles and boosting confidence through the combined power of music and movement.

🎈Lovely feedback from our session with Anchor - Upton Grange and Claremont School a few weeks ago.

"One resident had been quiet for the whole session, watching but not joining in or moving, until the balloons came out! He then came to life- he was hitting the balloon with both arms and even kicking high to get the balloon up! His face changed and we saw his huge smile. A bit of competition came into it too – residents vs pupils!'

A really fun game to make intergeneration connection and encourage movement.
