Join us for a spectacular evening of talent, creativity and live performance at the Woking College Summer Showcase on Wednesday 24 June at 7 pm.

Enjoy an exciting programme featuring our award-winning Theatre Company performance of The Changing Room, alongside performances from our brilliant Performing Arts students, plus an inspiring mix of dance, music and singing.

Cancelled: New Applicants Evening

Many apologies, but due to the unprecedented weather conditions, we have decided to cancel tomorrow's New Applicants Evening.

To ensure everyone still receives the important information that would have been shared, we will be sending a video home to you in the next week or so. This will cover everything which would have been spoken about during the event and will include senior staff contact details in case you have any pressing questions.

Urgent College Announcement - Students

Changes to the timetable

Given the intense heat forecast for the next few days, we have decided that lessons will finish at 12.40 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week.
Careers Morning (Tue 8.45am--1 pm): as this is such an important event, it is still compulsory for students to attend; however, the planned enrichment afternoon has been cancelled.

We will keep our eye on the weather into next week but currently it is likely that we will be able to return to normal.

Tomorrow, our Year 12 students will take part in Careers Morning, with external speakers joining us to share valuable advice and insights to help students plan their next steps.

The sessions will cover key areas including university options, apprenticeships, CV writing, career planning and decision-making strategies.

We look forward to welcoming our external guests and supporting students as they explore their future pathways.

BTEC Business Diploma Students Put Their Event Management Skills into Action!

As part of their BTEC Business Diploma, our students are taking on a practical coursework challenge: Management of an Event.

On Monday 22nd and Wednesday 24th, two student groups will be running their own fundraising events in College, each raising money for a local charity of their choice.

From liaising with departments, organising the venue, marketing, sourcing and supplying their own goods, our students are responsible for planning and delivering the whole event themselves.

We wish them the very best of luck — and we encourage all students and staff to come along, show their support, and help them raise as much as possible for their chosen charities.

🇳🇱 Netherlands Trip Update!

Our Year 12 Business & Economics students have had another packed day exploring business, production, sustainability and innovation in action.

They visited the Royal Delft Porcelain Factory, learning about traditional handmade craftsmanship and premium branding, before taking a Rotterdam Harbour Tour to see one of the world’s busiest ports and its growing focus on sustainability.

They also visited the House of Gassan, one of the world’s leading diamond polishing companies, where students learned about apprenticeships, specialist skills and patented diamond design.

The day finished with a visit to Clara Maria Cheese and Clog Farm, where birthday boy Caden even got to make and engrave his own clog — a fantastic souvenir to take home!

A brilliant experience bringing classroom learning to life. 🇳🇱🌷🧀
