This is a poll from a year ago now.

As the 10 year anniversary of the Brexit vote comes up on the 23rd (a week today) it is hard to imagine that we won't rejoin the EU. The government has admitted that the UK needs a closer relationship with the EU. While they say that Ukraine has started the process of joining and countries like Canada and Australia built a closer relationship with the EU by having various joint initiatives.

Watching the UK government try to wait out the need to rejoin is ridiculous.

It'll be time to get some pro-EU Reform voters onboard soon! ✌️

This year, in Woking South, there is no need to vote tactically since neither the Tories nor Reform can get in. You have the option of voting for candidates who are being honest about the situation that you, and the rest of Woking, is in.

In the morning many parts of the country will vote for new councillors. Most people will wonder about voting tactically. In Woking South you don't have to because neither Reform nor Tories can win. You have a chance to vote how you want, not to avoid parties that worry you.

That MPs are angry at this comment is so weird. Many of our local members are teachers or work in medical fields... they wouldn't dream of turning up to work drunk. So why should politicians be allowed to do so? They run the country, make choices on behalf of constituents and affect every country we interact with, they should do it sober.

Clearly some people are going to point at drug policies and cry hypocrisy... our policy is to treat drug and alcohol addiction as a public health issue rather than a criminal one, votes in Westminster should be free of any public health issues that affect people's decision making ability.

Many of the residents we've talked to have said that they worry about Woking town centre because of the high number of vacant shops. That issue is in part down to the council debt, but there are ways to revitalise the town centre which we would like to focus on.

The Green Party has a plan for our high streets:

🏚️ Bring long-term empty shops back into public use

🗣️ A real voice for residents in shaping the high street
