🚧 Arborfield Traffic Update 🚧

We’re introducing temporary measures to help ease congestion while Thames Water carry out essential works on Bearwood Road.

As part of this, two traffic-calming islands will be temporarily removed:
📍 Eversley Road – Thursday 28 May
📍 Sindlesham Road – Friday 29 May
⏰ Overnight (7pm–6am)
🚦 Under temporary traffic lights

Removing these islands will improve traffic flow and help reduce delays, particularly around the roundabout.

⚡ We’re aware of ongoing SSEN works on Eversley Road and are monitoring them closely. However, due to contractor availability, we’ll proceed as planned as the overall benefits outweigh the short-term disruption.

ℹ️ Some traffic calming will still be required after Thames Water’s works, in line with the Observer Way scheme.

We’ll monitor these changes to help inform next steps—thank you for your patience while essential upgrades are carried out.
