🌟 Inspiring the Next Generation Workforce! 🌟

Last week, our fantastic team members, Aisha a Physiotherapist and Nicola, an Occupational Therapist—visited Oldswinford Hospital Academy in Stourbridge for their Years 10 and 11 Careers Day! 🎓✨

They had a brilliant time speaking with students and highlighting the incredible, rewarding career paths available within Allied Health Professions (AHPs) in mental health. 🧠💼

We are passionate about inspiring the future faces of healthcare and showcasing how diverse and impactful AHP roles truly are. Thank you so much to the school and the students for a fantastic, engaging day!

This Men’s Health Week, we’re shining a light on something simple: getting advice shouldn’t feel difficult.

Pharmacy teams are accessible, knowledgeable, and often available without an appointment, making them a great place to start when something doesn’t feel quite right.

Whether it’s advice, support, or signposting to the right service, don’t put it off.

🌱 A big step forward in our journey to Net Zero!

We’ve recently introduced our first fully electric vehicle, now supporting services across Walsall and Sandwell. This is the first of four electric vehicles joining our Estates and Transport fleet in the coming months.

Travel and transport make up around 14% of the NHS carbon footprint, so moving to electric vehicles is an important part of reducing our environmental impact. We’re working towards a fully electric fleet by 2029.

This milestone sits alongside our wider sustainability work, including new net zero hospital facilities, food waste reduction projects across our sites, and tree planting with NHS Forest to support greener, healthier spaces.

Together, these changes are helping us care for people in a way that also cares for our planet 💚

For Learning Disabilities Week 2026, we are proud to support the theme ‘Do you see me?’ 💛

As the lead provider of mental health, learning disability and autism services across the Black Country, we stand alongside people with learning disabilities, their families and carers.

Seeing someone means listening to their voice, understanding their needs, recognising their strengths and advocating for their rights, choices and ambitions.

This week, and every week, we remain committed to compassionate, person-centred care that helps people with learning disabilities feel seen, heard, valued and included.

Loneliness doesn’t always look like what you expect and it can affect anyone, at any time.

When it lasts, it can seriously affect your health. Its even been compared to the impact of smoking 15 ci******es a day.

That’s why, this Loneliness Awareness Week, we’re supporting the theme: “Giving Loneliness A Voice"

Loneliness is a normal human emotion - but many people still feel unable to talk about it. If you're feeling low, isolated, or just need someone to talk to, our Let’s Talk team is here.

We offer free, confidential mental health support across the Black Country, and opportunities to meet others through local groups and activities.
