Good morning, we try our best to post all shouts we got to, unfortunately this is not always possible.

Last night our Pump (56P1) and Water carrier (56W1) were mobilised on route to standby in Swindon alongside Stratton St Margaret Fire Station P2 to two large manure heap fires.

We stand with our emergency service colleagues at Cleveland Police as we honour the service and sacrifice of PC Matthew Blades and PC Tom Clough.

This loss has hit our station on a personal level, particularly as one of our firefighters attended Northumbria University alongside PC Matthew Blades.

Our thoughts are with their families, friends, colleagues and all those affected by this tragic loss.

We honour their service, their dedication and their ultimate sacrifice.

🚒ARE WE GETTING THROUGH?🚒

Yesterday while attending an incident, our water carrier (56W1) was temporarily unable to pass down a road because of how a vehicle was positioned.

The driver did eventually move the vehicle which we are thankful for.

We urge anyone who parks on any public highway, to consider the gap you are leaving is big enough for a fire engine to get through.

If it gets us through🚒, an ambulance🚑 and police🚓 vehicle can also pass.

Good evening.

This week our 56P1🚒 and 56W1🚒 have been attending incidents locally and within Wiltshire.

Our water carrier (56W1) 🚒 is currently helping support Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service in the New Forest - Forestry England

Our crew are still there this evening working hard to stop fire spread and extinguish the 🔥.

An incredibly busy and hot day🌞.

Our P1 🚒 & W1🚒 were one of the first in attendance alongside Westlea Fire Station & Swindon Fire Station at a large vehicle fire on the M4 between junction 15-16 westbound this lunchtime.

Our crew continues to be there now extinguishing the fire.

Please be aware of long delays at this time, and for the foreseeable future. Please get to your destination safely.
