Join us (in your best costumes!) on Saturday 12th September for a fantastic Roald Dahl Day filled with crafts, stories, and activities.

A themed LEGO club will be hosted down on Level 0 from 10-11:30am, before the rest of the day commences in the Children’s Library.

Wonka Swirls Make & Takes and George’s Marvellous Medicine Mixing sessions are available to book on our website for £1 per person.

Suitable for ages 4-11
Parental accompaniment required

Looking for a fun, relaxed way to spend a Saturday morning with your little one? Come along to our Dads’ baby & toddler Stay & Play at The Hive Library!

Last Saturday of each month, 10:30am-12:00pm, in the Oasis.

Bring your babies and toddlers for a friendly, low‑pressure play session filled with toys, books, and plenty of space to explore. It’s a great chance to meet other dads and enjoy some quality time with your little adventurers.

No need to book — just drop in and play. We’d love to see you there!

She wasn’t just a singer… she was a true champion of literacy!
