Caught the Commanding Officer, schmoozing with the High Sheriff at this afternoon's shrievalty service. 🤣

The cadets have never been invited before and so in all seriousness it was an honour to attend and we thank the Under Sheriff for including us.

What a busy time! Tomorrow sees some rehearsals for this year's Severn District Trafalgar Day parade and afterwards some of our staff are attending the Shrievalty Service for the High Sheriff of Worcester. Then we have the Trafalgar Day parade itself, the commemoration service for the Battle of Gheluvelt, the launch of the Poppy Appeal by the RBL, various rounds of Poppy Selling, another commemoration for the War Graves at Astwood Cemetery and of course the annual Remembrance Parade in Worcester.

Just because National Cadet Week has come to an end, it doesn't mean the commitment of our staff and young people isn't still at full speed ahead.

Last night saw our Cadet Takeover part 1. Our temporary CO, 1st Lt, UTO and Stores Officer were all hard at work. We also had the cadets teaching classes (that included adults) and everyone seemed to have a good time. This all forms part of National Cadet Week, with more to come tomorrow evening.

As we saw yesterday, His Majesty the King has praised the Cadet Forces for helping generations of young people "discover their strengths, broaden their horizons and develop the confidence to face life's challenges" as the first-ever National Cadet Week begins. We at TS Fearless are celebrating cadets and their achievements by running a Cadet Takeover of the unit. Senior cadets will take up key posts this week that are usually held by adults will be responsible for teaching the staff. We hope this will prove to be a bit of fun, but it will also give our cadets some insight in to how their training is put together and delivered, whilst also giving them some responsibility and a chance to hone their leadership skills.

Nice to be acknowledged by the King. Cadet forces and volunteers make a difference ⚓️🫡

A big congratulations (or Bravo Zulu as we say) to ACs Aimee and Ben who today passed a rigorous promotion board and were successfully promoted to Leading Cadet. This is not an easy thing to achieve and we're all very proud of them at TS Fearless.

Our priest-in-charge, Rev'd Richard, has recently been getting a little more nautical!

He’s taken on a new role as Chaplain (or “Padre”/“Bish”) to TSS Fearless, the Worcester unit of the Sea Cadets. As well as rocking the uniform, Richard will be there to support cadets and volunteers, and to encourage the values of service, courage and loyalty.

We’re delighted to see him getting “on board”!

A big thank you to all of the cadets and staff who gave up their Sunday to volunteer for the Worcester City Runs today. We got lots of compliments which is a credit to you all.

👀 Spot the Cadets! 👀

Last night was all about getting stuck into fieldcraft with our fantastic Juniors! 🌿💪 From learning new skills to having plenty of laughs along the way, it was a brilliant evening of teamwork, adventure and fun.

A huge thank you to our Marines Team for giving up their time to teach, encourage and inspire our cadets. 🫡⚓

Want to try something different, make new friends, build confidence and learn skills for life? Royal Marine Cadets could be for you! 💚

📣 Come along and see what we’re all about!

Today we attended the Worcester Community Youth Day at Ronkswood Community Centre. It was a shame that thunder and rain cut it short but it was fun while it lasted.
