Did you know there is No Prerequisite Requirements for the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund, No (CIN / Early Help / Permanence Support Plans):
A Special Guardianship Support Assessment is a standalone legal entitlement. The local authority cannot legally mandate an Early Help referral, a Child in Need (CIN) plan under Section 17 of the Children Act 1989, or a Permanence Support Plan as a prerequisite gateway to accessing this assessment or ASGSF funding. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/adoption-and-special-guardianship-support-fund-asgsf
