🏨 New Contract Award – NoMad London

We’re proud to announce that Spartan Fire Protection Ltd has been awarded the Fire & Security package for the prestigious NoMad London Hotel.

Located in the former Bow Street Magistrates Court and Police Station, directly opposite the historic Royal Opera House, NoMad London is an iconic transformation in the heart of Covent Garden. The hotel features 91 rooms and 16 luxury suites, award-winning dining and drinks, and stunning city views within a beautifully restored heritage building.

This is an exciting project for our team, and we’re looking forward to delivering high quality fire and security solutions to match the elegance and history of this landmark location.

We were 🆙 in Cheshire this week carrying out a full fire alarm system takeover, including a comprehensive review and update of the site’s evacuation plans and extinguisher location plans.

A particularly interesting site from an engineering perspective while primarily industrial, it also incorporates two Zone 1 explosive atmosphere plants, requiring enhanced consideration for equipment selection, ignition source control, and compliant documentation under DSEAR/ATEX requirements.

Projects like this demand precise coordination, accurate asset verification, and a clear understanding of how fire protection measures integrate with hazardous area classification.

A challenging environment, but exactly the type of work that drives continuous improvement in our processes and keeps standards high across every installation and maintenance task.

Pleased to share that Spartan Fire Protection Ltd has taken over a new site in Worcester St John-in-Bedwardine Parish Church.

Our engineer, Notis, attended the site and carried out a full fire extinguisher inspection, ensuring the church remains compliant and protected. This is such a beautiful heritage site, and it’s a privilege to support the safety of a building with so much history and character.

Exciting project for Spartan Fire Protection Ltd in Hockley, Birmingham 👷‍♂️🔥

We’ll be ripping out the old conventional C-TEC system and starting fresh with a brand-new addressable fire alarm system. Each flat will have a heat detector with a sounder, and all communal areas will be fully protected.

As part of the landlord’s major refurbishment of the block, we’ll also be installing a new AOV (Automatic Opening Vent) system in the staircase to further improve resident safety.

A big step forward in modernising the building and making sure the fire protection is up to today’s standards ✅

We recently carried out some fire extinguisher remedial works for one of our valued clients, and it turned into much more than just a job.

Our engineer, Panayiotis Vorgias who is originally from Greece, discovered that our client had spent several years living in Greece and had even written books inspired by his time there. As a kind gesture, he gifted Panayiotis one of his books to read. 📖🇬🇷
