Keeping critical fire detection systems operating at peak performance.

At Spartan Fire Protection, we recently completed planned preventative maintenance on a VESDA VLP aspirating smoke detection system.

Our maintenance included:
✅ Replacing the air filter
✅ Vacuuming and cleaning the sampling pipework
✅ Checking and verifying airflow values
✅ Reassembling the unit
✅ Completing a full functional test, with the system operating perfectly upon completion 👍🏼

Routine maintenance is essential to ensure aspirating smoke detection systems continue to provide the earliest possible warning of fire, while maintaining reliability, reducing unwanted alarms, and supporting compliance.

Whether it’s a single VESDA unit or a complete fire detection system, our engineers are committed to keeping our clients protected through high-quality servicing and maintenance.

Another successful project completed and handed over a 266,000 sq ft distribution centre, with another happy client.

This site received a full Category L1 fire alarm installation, including:

* 2 Fire Alarm Control Panels
* 1 Repeater Panel
* 15 Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD) units
* Smoke detection throughout including voids
*MCPs throughout
* Sounders throughout

From design through to commissioning and handover, our team delivered a reliable, compliant fire detection system designed to provide the highest level of life safety throughout the entire building.

We’re proud to announce that we’ve secured the maintenance contract for the beautiful Sir Devonshire Square Hotel. A great addition to our growing portfolio of prestigious sites.

Our team completed the first visit today, and we’re pleased to report that everything performed to a high standard, with only a few minor repairs identified.
