Summer of Play has landed at Croome!🌳🎉

After a challenging week in the hot weather, Summer of Play has finally arrived and we're really looking forward to welcoming visitors for a summer packed with games, adventures and family fun.

There are a handful of finishing touches to arrive over the next week, and they will be set up once the temperatures (and team members!) have cooled off!

We can't wait to see you this summer! ☀️

⚠️ Important Visitor Update – Saturday 11th July ⚠️

Due to the forecast hot weather, NT Croome will be closing at 3:00pm on Saturday 11th July.

As a result, The Walled Gardens at Croome Court will have revised opening hours:
🕚 Open: 11:00am – 3:00pm
🎟️ Last entry: 2:00pm

Please also note that Croome's car park will close at 3:30pm, so we kindly ask all visitors to make their way back to the car park in good time.

Sunday's opening hours are currently unchanged:
🕚 11:00am – 5:00pm (last entry 4:00pm)

Should there be any further changes, we'll share an update here as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding, and please take care if you're out enjoying the sunshine this weekend. Stay hydrated, wear sun protection, and wherever possible seek shade during the hottest part of the day. We look forward to welcoming you when it is safe to do so. 🌿

Following a further review of the forecast temperatures, adjusted opening hours will remain in place at Croome on Saturday 11 July. The Court will close at 1.30pm, whilst the rest of our site will close at 3pm.

Why not try an Iced Strawberry Matcha (regular £5), an Iced Matcha Latte (large £4.25), or a Matcha Latte (regular £3.95) 🍵
Available with dairy, oat or soya milk.

Due to hot weather, Croome will be closing early on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 July. The Court will close at 1.30pm, and the rest of our site will close at 3pm.

There will be a limited menu in the café and the RAF playground may be closed.

This year, Croome's Summer of Play begins a week earlier than usual, starting on Saturday 11 July, giving pre-school families and children from schools that break up early the chance to start their summer adventures sooner.

From outdoor games and activities to plenty of space to run, play and explore, there's a whole extra week of summer fun waiting for you.

2 weeks to go until Summer of Play kicks off at Croome and we're bringing back our 'bugs and biodiversity-themed' play zone for 2026.☀🦋

The whole family can get active with sports and fairground‑style games across the lawn, create musical or theatrical performances on the stage, and join in with a range of free workshops running throughout the summer.

To top it all off, we're starting a week earlier than in 2025! You can enjoy Croome's Summer of Play from Saturday 11 July.
