I’m thrilled to announced Taylor Wimpey have finally applied for a permit to install the missing footpath.

After nearly 8 years we will finally have a date.

29th June - 12 July.

I’d like to thank Highways and North Claines Parish Council for pushing these developers.

A real privilege to have been invited to The Great British Farm Fest in Warwickshire today.

I spoke to a number of farmers and producers about the challenges facing the industry.

I’m honoured to represent a number of family farms across Bowbrook, and stand with them.

🚨 Chawson Lane 🚨

After weeks of meetings, discussions, phone calls and teams, we have an answer.

Thanks to the hard work of Cllr Dan Birch and Wychavon colleagues, the application has been refused.

HOWEVER

In a recent change, the Labour Government want the final say. Despite local members knowing the area, knowing the challenges and positives Labour believe they know best.

Dan and I have written to the Secretary of State, to ask him to stand by the right decision.

We will let everyone know the outcome as soon as we have it.

Last night was Himbleton Parosh Councils AGM.

Andy and the whole Parish council are deeply committed to the village, and I am honoured to be able to support them.

A big shout out to the beautiful venue, that really reminds us how historic the village is.

🚨🚨 Ministerial Response 🚨🚨

A number of weeks ago Nigel Huddleston MP shared our concerns over building across our communities.

Residents tell me that they want to see infrastructure first, with real concerns over developments such as Hadzor.

Sadly, it seems the minister will follow the Labour Government’s tagline of blame someone else.

I’m yet to be convinced that the government understands rural areas, and the uniqueness of our housing and building needs.

I’m keen to hear residents views, and to keep working with colleagues to stand up to reckless developers.
