Tudor House Worcester Free access to 500 years of history Tudor House brings the lost stories of Worcester’s history to life!

Tudor House is a unique slice of Tudor life in the heart of historic Worcester, run almost entirely by volunteers, who stepped in to take over the running of the museum when it was threatened with closure. Built in the early 1500s for a local cloth maker, it is now a FREE museum where you can explore the different aspects of life in the city, watch textile demonstrations, discover how the Tudors

would have lived and get involved with keeping the city’s heritage alive. Seat yourself in the 17th Century tavern or nose around the 16th Century bedroom, peak in at the ARPs office or refresh yourself in our charming coffee shop, inspired by Richard Cadbury’s work here. At Tudor House Museum we are committed to welcoming everyone. If you prefer your museum visit to be a little quieter and relaxed, then please do visit us on the first Friday of the month, when we switch off all of our AV and sound equipment and keep chat in the museum to a minimum.

It is a Quiet Friday tomorrow morning from 10am-12pm.

The sun is shining and our courtyard is full of family friendly activities to enjoy today. Drop in to find out all about Tudor gardens, and plant your own herb to take home with you. Our family room is open all day too, with lots of traditional games to play inside in the cool.
