This coming May, we will be having a set of elections as we move to a Unitary Authority, getting rid of County and District Councils

If you're not registered, search 'register to vote' online and go to the gov . uk website

It's free and only takes 5 minutes

And bar me dying, I'll be standing in the election as without a shadow of doubt, being a Councillor is the best thing I've ever done!

One of the problems is the bypass

This is National Highways, not County controlled

We contacted National Highways about the traffic situation and their response...

No plans to dual the bypass
Looking into improvements at Twyford, Broadway and Vale Park roundabouts

I'll keep checking progress every now and then

But you know what struck me most... the general dirtiness of Bridge St

'Maybe I'm imagining it' I said to myself

I then went into the Market Square and my point was proven

Clean on one side of where the fencing and scaffolding was at Natwest and filthy on the public side

I've emailed Wychavon about their cleaning schedule

Seems like a 'Keep Clear' has caused a bit of frustration and a laugh in equal measures

It isn't in the division I cover, but on 6th August I reported that the 'Keep Clear' had been remarked

They agree it has no use at all, should not have been done and we won't suffer a financial loss

Being a diligent Councillor, I'll always report issues to the relevant party

We're nearly there guys!

From 21st September the Bridge St/Mill St junction will be closed for the installation of a bollard

Once that is installed, we'll be moving straight onto the Market Square bollards

Yes, that's right... the bollards are going to be done!

They were out of action for years before I won my seat and something I've fought hard to get done since being elected

It will be a proud moment once we see them in the ground

Just a little something I've noticed over recent months...

If you want help, please EMAIL me and do not comment on posts or private message me expecting things to get done

I try my best to keep on top of things but social media is not designed for councillors to assist residents

Sending an email creates an auditable paper trail and is monitored regularly, therefore is absolutely perfect for councillors helping residents get stuff sorted
