Make a note in your dairies for all the Apple Pressing Days 🍏

Delighted to confirm details of this year's apple pressing programme. Bring your surplus apples or pears and get them pressed into juice by our Orchard Worker volunteers. Please bring your own clean bottles or containers. These events are also a good opportunity to find out about managing your trees for fruit and for wildlife. Free but donations towards our running costs much appreciated.

📢 Worcester City Council is pleased to launch the Community Coordination Grant Programme, funded through the Crisis Resilience Fund (CRF) 2026/27.

The programme will support Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations to deliver flexible, locally tailored services that help residents build financial resilience, access advice and support, and prevent financial difficulties from escalating into crisis.

Funding is available for organisations providing prevention activities, advice, crisis intervention and support, while leading community coordination across the city.

Community groups and organisations across Worcester are being encouraged to apply for funding to help make local ideas a reality.
Worcester City Council has opened applications for this year’s Worcester Community Grants programme.
Grants of up to £1,000 are available for projects that have a positive impact on people living in Worcester, helping to strengthen communities, improve wellbeing and support local causes.
Money must be spent to deliver a specific project or activity and not day-to-day running costs.
