To our family's of parkside. On Friday 26TH June , parkside are having a BBQ. Time 1230 PM. Residents can have up to 3 family members, as we have to think about space and safety. We will be holding a raffle, with proceeds going to the activities fund.. It will be lovely if you can make it. Please let us know for catering. Today at parkside our family really felt like relaxing, and taking it easy. We have to remember the heat effects everyone. A few of our residents made some cards for our wonderful gentleman for Sunday! We enjoyed listening to music 🎶, talking about the 🌎 🏆, and the final touches were added to our amazing seaside back drop our family all created. I can't wait untill we use it next week.

Today at parkside our family engaged in activities of crafts, this was finishing off from yesterday, and a new activity of printing using stencils. These turned out lovely. Some residents then helped in painting and putting together banners, ready for father's day decorations.
We would also like to wish Simon our chef a happy birthday 🎂 for yesterday.

Today at parkside our family chose to do what they wanted.. This is not only person centered care, but it's their home, and it's lovely for them to independently make choices. Some chose puzzles, others chose crafts

Today at parkside our family played Bingo, and we had a 35 questions quiz! well done everyone. It's good to keep our brains active, and our quizzes are very popular, just like bingo. Well done to our winners, Kathleen, Joyce, carol, christa, Freddie, Michael, and Mike . Everyone enjoyed some treats. 😋.

Today at parkside our family have been creative with our summer pictures, and some have been using good eye co ordination with word searches. Myself and jean completed a puzzle 🧩, We even got to nails 💅.. Everyone was happy listening to the music 🎶, and putting up our balloons for the 1st day of the world 🌎🏆 . It's been good welcoming our new residents.
