One of our Life Skills Art Session have been busy recently! Firstly they worked on creating Self Portraits. Each person used a mirror to idenify their own features and then used various different forms of paper to represent their face, hair and clothing.
They've also got creative by making their own form of Mosaic art using lasagne sheets! What a brillant idea!

We had the best time yesterday on our trip to Cycall Adapted Cycling at Brooklands.
Some of us have never been on a bike so this was another activity we asked to do at our recent peoples forum. Even with the heat, we found it so much fun and there was lots of happy smiles 😊
All of the staff and volunteers were so kind helpful. they even provided refreshments for us during our pit stops!
Thank you so much, we really hope to be able to visit again soon 🚴‍♂️

Thank you so much to Culture Shift who have provided not one but two chances for us to attend a printing workshops recently held at Amberley Museum.
All of us who have attended have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and are so grateful to have been able to have a look round the lovely Amberley Museum as well as have a trip on their vintage bus and train! 🚂

Thank you again for giving us the opportunities to attend these events 😊

Yesterday we visited Tarring Manor Care Home where we did some joint working for a Knit and Natter session! 🧶
We had a lovely afternoon and were treated to a beautiful High Tea with delicious homemade cakes. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon, we're looking forward to seeing you again very soon ☕️🍰

We have recently visited the North Star, Worthing pub for lunch as requested at our most recent Peoples forum some of us shared that we had never been to the pub for lunch so at The Rowans we like to make things happen! We all really enjoyed that lovely food and the company of each other. We found all the staff to be extremely accommodating and would love to do it again soon 🥰
