THORPE PARK SUMMER RECAP🎢☀️

As the days get shorter and the weather gets colder, we’re reminiscing about the warmer summer days ☀️🎢

One of our highlights was taking our young people to Thorpe Park for a day full of rides, laughter and making memories together! 💙🧡

It might be getting chilly outside, but we’ll be holding onto these sunny summer memories for a little longer! 🍂✨

Some well-known celebrities have experienced foster care or spent time in the care system growing up.

Their journeys show that where you start doesn’t define where you can go. With the right support and stability, children and young people can thrive and achieve incredible things.

A huge well done to our work experience student for putting together this post and researching these inspiring stories! 💙🧡

💙 Created by our amazing work experience student!

Drawing on discussions around neurodiversity and change, we discussed how overwhelming transitions can be, particularly for children and young people moving into a new foster home.

A big thank you for sharing such an insightful perspective with us!

We were delighted to welcome a young person to our office for work experience recently!

She helped us create a series of social media posts and brought fresh and new ideas to the team!

On her first day, she spoke all about sensory toys and the importance of these for young people with neurodivergence, and made this brilliant post!

Thank you for all of your hard work!

What is your favourite sensory toy? Comment below!

As a fostering agency, we know how important it is for children and young people to grow up feeling seen, supported, and accepted for who they are.

We're proud to support and celebrate Worthing Pride and stand together in creating a community where everyone belongs. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
