Wrexham County Borough Council is conducting a Community Carbon Awareness Survey.

This survey was initially developed in 2022 to find out some key information from people that live and work in Wrexham around climate change and decarbonisation. We are repeating the survey to enable us to see if opinions and knowledge have changed over the last 3 years, the results will support us in our decarbonisation planning and communication going forward and to assist us in forming some initial conclusions and identifying trends. By completing this survey you also have the chance to be entered into a prize draw to win one of our lovely prizes.

We know how hard community groups work to raise the funds needed to keep Wales beautiful. That’s why we’re excited to share a simple way you can bring in extra money to help fund your project. Read on to find out more, and how you could win £100 for your group!

We’ve partnered with easyfundraising, a platform that turns everyday online shopping into free donations for your group. Over 8,000 retailers, including eBay, John Lewis, Tesco, Trainline and many more, will donate when your supporters shop with them.

Here’s how it works:

Register your group with easyfundraising here: www.easyfundraising.org.uk/keep-wales-tidy
Share your easyfundraising link with your community.
Each time they shop online, the retailer sends a small donation straight to you, at no extra cost.
It’s that simple, and it can make a real difference to your funds.
