What a feeling.

Wrexham’s official bid for UK City of Culture 2029 has now been submitted, and we couldn’t be prouder to support it.

UK City of Culture 2029 isn’t just a title. This bid isn’t just a document. It’s thousands of conversations, years of creativity, generations of stories, and a huge belief in what Wrexham already is, and what it can be.

The bid is in.

Rhos Placemaking Steering/civic Group first meeting 29th July.

We have our first meeting next week following the development of our Placemaking Plan for Rhos which was supported by the Council’s Executive Board in July.

Congratulations to our Community Agent on successfully completing her NVQ in Adult Social Care. Michelle was presented with her certificate by the Mayor of Wrexham, Jeremy Kent, at a presentation at the Guildhall yesterday.

The community council are extremely proud of Michelle's achievement and are continuing to support Michelle in her on-going studies at Level 3.
