Just to keep everybody updated regarding the cemetery grounds at Holy Trinity church in Rhostyllen as I have had many questions about the upkeep of the grass. Unfortunately our regular gardener has had some family commitments to deal with and has been unable to attend and carry out his usual work.

I am happy to let you know that work has restarted to maintain the grounds and this will restore them back to their usual high standard. It would help the gardener greatly if all tributes could be located at the headstone only in line with Parochial regulations. This allows the access required to cut the grass safely without any damage to the tributes.

We are opening the cafe from 9am tomorrow and raising money for Dementia UK ‘have a cuppa’ day. Come along and have a cuppa and some cake and raise money for a great charity!

A big thank you to the Mayor for opening our new tearoom today. We had a great turnout and it was great to be able to thank the people involved in helping renovate the room. Big thanks to the Snooker lads for all the painting and fixing, Al Thomas for fitting the kitchen, our lovely caretakers, Deb and Linda for going the extra mile, and all our regulars who support us week in week out and a big welcome to anyone who want to pop in for a drink and a piece of cake.
