A very special evening in Edinburgh witnessing the penultimate performance of the 2026 Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. A wonderful night of music, pageantry, precision and plenty of goosebumps delivered by amazing people from Qatar, New Zealand, Germany, the USA and from across the UK.
This year’s Tattoo was RAF-led, with more than 200 RAF personnel helping to design, deliver and support what was a simply superb occasion. An amazing showcase for the Service and a great credit to everyone involved.
Thank you, Air Cdre Mark Northover, Air Officer Scotland and all of your incredible team! Huge congratulations to everyone who made it happen.

Noson arbennig iawn yng Nghaeredin yn gweld perfformiad cyn olaf Tatŵ Milwrol Brenhinol Caeredin 2026. Noson wych o gerddoriaeth, cywirdeb a digonedd o falchder wedi'i chyflwyno gan bobl anhygoel o Qatar, Seland Newydd, yr Almaen, UDA ac ar draws y DU.
Arweiniwyd Tatŵ eleni gan y RAF, gyda mwy na 200 o bersonél y RAF yn helpu i ddylunio, cyflwyno a chefnogi'r hyn a oedd yn achlysur hollol wych. Arddangosfa anhygoel i'r Gwasanaeth a chlod mawr i bawb a oedd yn rhan ohono.

⚠️ Important Notice – RAF Valley Families Day | Friday 7 August ⚠️

RAF Valley will be hosting its annual Families Day on the afternoon of Friday 7 August. This is a ticket-only event, with entry strictly limited to Whole Force personnel serving at RAF Valley and their invited families.

We kindly ask all aviation enthusiasts and visitors to help us ensure the event is safe and enjoyable by respecting the following:

✈️ Please do not park irresponsibly on public roads or in surrounding areas.
🚒 Do not obstruct emergency service crash gates or access routes at any time.
🚧 Do not spectate within the designated display safety area, including the location commonly known as Fraggle Rock.
🚗 Please note that the Spotters’ Car Park will be closed for the duration of the event.

Your cooperation helps ensure the safety of our personnel, families, visitors and the local community. We greatly appreciate your understanding, continued support and respect for these temporary arrangements.
