Repairs and maintenance at the Market Cross, part of the Public Realm project.

A little heads-up for anyone visiting the town centre over the coming week.

Maintenance works are being carried out at the Market Cross and, for safety reasons, the area immediately surrounding the building will be temporarily cordoned off while the works take place.

The Market Cross will be closed on Wednesday 27th May.

These works will not impact pedestrian or vehicular access through the town centre.

We kindly ask visitors to take extra care around the working area and thank everyone for their patience while these important improvements are completed.

All residents of Wymondham and surrounding areas affected by the constant road closures at the bridge are welcome to attend this meeting 👇🏽

Thanks to Suzanne and Roly for organising this event with Taylor Wimpy so residents can come along and ask questions. For me, what I hope we can get out of this is a full list of all future closures so we can at least prepare/plan in advance 📝
