Yate Town Council promotes an active community by awarding grants annually to non-profit making organisations.

If your organisation is in need of some financial assistance and provides a beneficial service or activity for the community of Yate you can submit a grant application form to Yate Town Council for consideration.

Application forms for the 2026/2027 grants round are now available.

You can download an application form from the Town Council website: www.yatetowncouncil.gov.uk/grants, scan the QR Code or email: [email protected].

Our event will be held in Yate Shopping Centre, on the market square outside Yate Active Lifestyle Centre (leisure centre).

We were delighted to present former Mayor, Aziz Chowdhry, and former Deputy Mayor, Alan Monaghan, with two apple trees, now proudly planted in the Memorial Orchard on Yate Common.

The trees were planted alongside the new Mayor of Yate, Cllr Ray Perry, and Deputy Mayor, Cllr John Ford, creating a wonderful moment of reflection, community and continuity.
Thank you to Aziz and Alan for their dedication and service to the community during their year in leadership for Yate Town Council. We hope these trees will continue to grow and flourish for many years to come as a lasting reminder of their contribution to Yate.
