Yateley Town Council Strikes Gold!
We are delighted to announce that Yateley Town Council has been awarded the prestigious Gold Award Accreditation by the National Association of Local Councils (NALC). This achievement places Yateley among an elite group of councils recognised for excellence in local governance, community leadership and continuous improvement.
The award is particularly significant as Yateley Town Council is only the second town or parish council in Hampshire to achieve Gold status. Even more remarkably, we have since learned that only 51 councils nationally hold this accreditation out of approximately 10,000 local councils across the country, making this a truly exceptional accomplishment.
The NALC Gold Award is the highest level within the Local Council Award Scheme and recognises councils that demonstrate outstanding performance across all aspects of their work, including governance, community engagement, leadership and service delivery.
The award reflects the dedication of councillors and staff who work tirelessly to deliver high-quality services, manage resources responsibly and ensure residents receive excellent value from their local council. It also demonstrates the Council's commitment to transparency, accountability and continually raising standards for the benefit of the community.
