Just a small selection of the flowering dogwoods here at the Castle Howard Arboretum.

1-4. Cornus kousa var. chinensis in the woodland garden.
5. Cornus 'Norman Hadden' in the woodland garden.
6-7. Cornus kousa on the southern end of Main Vista.

The flowering of Cornus is largely dependent on the previous years summer. As summer 2025 was long and hot, this years flowers are superb!
