Dubai Airports Airside Operations completed Airside Defensive Driving & Safety Awareness Instructor (ADDSA-I) course.

Well done to the teams from DXB & DWC Airside Ops for their commitment to Airside safety awareness.

Course Overview:
This course is delivered using a blended approach to training which includes theory, practical and ERDT’s New 360-VR immersive trainer.
The course prepares instructors to deliver and assess Airside Defensive Driving and Safety
Awareness training for airside operational staff and authorised airside drivers. It focuses on
developing safer driving behaviours in high-risk airside environments.

Supervisors involved in Airside Driving Permit (ADP) schemes
Airside operational staff moving into a training or assessment roles

Total Course Time 3 Days (24 hrs) Maximum of 3 students.

Entry Requirements
Learners should:
Hold a valid ADP and have recent airside driving experience
Have knowledge of airside operations and hazards
Have suitable communication skills for instructional delivery
Previous training or supervisory experience is recommended but not essential

SFJ Awards Accredited Certificate of Achievement.

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest level of SFJ Awards accreditation; it provides assurance that the training programs have defined learning outcomes and assessment criteria and are internally and externally quality assured.

UK Part-time Fire & Rescue, Airport Fire Service & Police Freelance Trainers are needed to deliver courses in the south of England and various locations across the UK.
Daily pay rates range from £260 to £330, with courses available from 1 to 10 days in duration.
Essential skills required include:
- Experienced UK FRS, Airport Fire and Police Emergency Response Driving Instructor for heavy and/or light vehicles (ADI required for light vehicles).
- Level 3 Education and Training and Assessors qualification or equivalent.
Desirable skills include:
- NFCC registered Emergency Response Driver Instructor for heavy and/or light vehicles, with a willingness to join the NFCC register as a private provider via ERDT.
ERDT has successfully delivered training to over 197 Emergency Services in 20 countries. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work internationally and will receive training to provide a variety of courses.
