Emergency Response Driving Instructor Training.

ERDT is pleased to announce that we are delivering our SFJ Awards Accredited Certificate for Achievement Emergency Response Driving Instructor training course to two new Instructors from Cleveland Fire Brigade.

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest level of SFJ Awards accreditation; it provides assurance that the training programs have defined learning outcomes and assessment criteria and are internally and externally quality assured.

ERDT has a driver training resilience contract with CFB and we have delivered ERD Fire Appliance and Car courses over the past two years to support CFB.

CONTRACT AWARD: The Scottish Fire & Rescue Service (SFRS) has awarded three contracts to Emergency Response Driver Training Ltd (ERDT) for two years.

The contracts include the delivery of Emergency Response Driver Instructor Training, Emergency Response Driver Training, resilience services to support the SFRS driver training team and course design/development and consultation professional services.

To date, ERDT has delivered a 3-week ERD Instructors course, 10 ERD Car courses and two ERD Fire Appliance courses. We have also designed a new ERD driving course, which has been rolled out across the service.

The Scottish Fire & Rescue Service (SFRS) operates 356 fire stations across Scotland. This makes it the largest fire and rescue service in the United Kingdom, with roughly 3,500 wholetime operational firefighters and 2,700 on-call firefighters.

ERDT has several contracts with UK FRS’s across the UK to provide Emergency Response Driver Training resilience services to support FRS driver training teams.

This industry-first training system is a blend of VR Training Scenarios and 360° Immersive Training Videos.
ERDT is working with RedBoxVR and Capita to bring this 360° VR Immersive Training to Airport Fire & Rescue Services across the UK and Worldwide.

Gibraltar Airport Fire & Rescue Service achieves three industry firsts, becoming the first to complete ERDT's SFJ Awards Certificate of Achievement Accredited courses in High Reach Extendable Turret (HRET) Instructor Training, Vehicle and Pump Instructor Training, and Emergency Response Driving Instructor Training.

These new courses align with international and national standards, including ICAO, CAA Cap 699, EASA, NFPA 1010, FAA, GCAA CAR AGA PART TRG, and NFCC ERD.
