You don't have to live in York, or be a council tenant, to rent one of our garages.

This week's garage bidding cycle is now open so visit www.york.gov.uk/AvailableCouncilGarages for further information.

We are now accepting bids for garages at 5 locations:
• Delwood
• Jackson Street
• Hope Street
• Lindsey Avenue
• Ridgeway

Restrictions may apply to some garages.

For those with an active housing application, you have until midnight on Tuesday 6 October to show an interest in any homes.

This week there are 12 homes:
6x 1 bed homes
4x 2 bed homes
2x 3 bed homes

Restrictions may apply to some properties.

Please note that customers can only see properties they are eligible to bid on.

Register for the Open Housing portal at www.york.gov.uk/OpenHousing

Our portal brings together housing services, and registering will allow you to:
• apply for housing
• check your rent account
• make a payment
• send a message
• email your Housing Management Officer
• view your repairs
• report anti-social behaviour

You can set up or log in to your Open Housing account online, using your tenancy reference, which starts "1900" or "600", or your application reference which starts "800".

Alternatively, contact our Neighbourhood Enforcement Team for help with noise problems from domestic premises. You can find their details at www.york.gov.uk/noise

From your portal you can view your rent account, contact your housing officer log an ASB report and much more.

Registering is easy. All you need is access to an email and your rent reference number.
