Which brings me to the point of this post!
Life can get in the way, and we don’t always take the time to say thank you for your continued support - choosing to stay here at gravel pits.

Mum and dad certainly created a mini Paradise for us personally and our guests to enjoy.

I had to share this recent review because Liz’s words beautifully capture the Gravel Pits essence.

Paul and Liz were new guests from Airbnb, they left a few special notes, including a poem that I’d like to share with you all.

We thank you all for the love, respect and support you continue to give us all.

What a beautiful weekend down here, from capturing the stormy looking clouds in the morning, and finishing up with an award winning sunset.

Grateful for our Mallard guests (just four blokes from the north - their words, not mine) who bought us flowers to say thankyou, while booking again for next year!

A new addition to our workforce- Henry, who is in full replace peg mode!!
I found the little baby swallow contemplating his next move down at the stables.

Finally Miss Floppy stealing the limelight with her performance on the water as the sun went down! Thankyou Dawn for capturing those pictures.

There’s always something to see at the gravel pits. As many of you know, we still have eight cygnets, and one of last year’s cygnets just won’t leave.
He certainly keeps us all on our toes, especially watching Dad Swan chase him off time and time again. For those who have seen it, the power of a swan’s wings is incredible.
I finally managed to capture this young cygnet flying back in. Every time I see him, I can never get to my phone quickly enough, but this morning, while sitting outside with a coffee and enjoying the beautiful hot weather, I managed to get the shot.
