EIGHT YEARS OF SERVICE, A LIFETIME OF GRATITUDE!
I continued my appreciation tour over the weekend, traversing the Ahafo, Bono, and Bono East Regions. During this period, I engaged with our dedicated Regional and Constituency Women Organizers to convey my profound gratitude for their steadfast support, loyalty, and commitment throughout the past eight (8) years. Collectively, we have diligently endeavored to fortify, empower, and advance the Women’s Wing. Our shared journey has been characterized by sacrifice, resilience, teamwork, and a unified resolve to cultivate a more robust and dynamic wing. I deeply value every contribution, every sacrifice, and every effort that has led to our current achievements.
During these engagements, I formally communicated my decision not to seek re-election in the forthcoming elections. This determination signifies the conclusion of one phase of my service; however, it does not diminish my enthusiasm for the Women’s Wing or my dedication to the progress we have collaboratively striven to achieve. Leadership transcends merely holding a position; it encompasses serving with purpose, fostering individual growth, strengthening institutional frameworks, and generating opportunities for others to assume leadership roles. As I reflect upon these eight years, I do so with immense gratitude and pride in all that we have accomplished together.
To our diligent Regional and Constituency Women Organizers, I extend my thanks for standing with me throughout this journey. Your commitment and support have been invaluable, and I will perpetually cherish the relationships we have forged and the milestones we have jointly attained.
As we approach the upcoming constituency and regional elections, I extend my best wishes to all aspirants. May the process be conducted peacefully, transparently, and guided by our collective interest in establishing a stronger Women’s Wing.
Although my decision not to seek re-election marks the closure of one chapter, our collective vision, our solidarity, and our commitment to progress endure. The work we have performed together will consistently serve as a source of pride, and the endeavor to cultivate a stronger Women’s Wing continues.
Thank you for the trust, the solidarity, and the opportunity to serve. Eight years of service, innumerable memories, and enduring gratitude!

A MOMENT OF GRATITUDE AND REFLECTION

A heartfelt moment of gratitude and reflection as I met with my Women Organizers of the Ashanti Region yesterday at the Ashanti Regional NDC Office to appreciate their unwavering support over the past eight years.

The gathering was filled with warm memories, heartfelt conversations, and reflections on the journey of organising and leading the NDC Women’s Wing.

I also officially informed the women of my decision not to contest the upcoming National Women’s Organizer elections, while wishing all aspirants success in the upcoming constituency elections.

I remain deeply grateful for the support, dedication, and commitment shown throughout this remarkable journey.

Hon. Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah, Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, paid an official visit to the Minerals Development Fund (MDF), reaffirming government’s commitment to strengthening institutions that drive sustainable development in mining communities.

I was delighted to warmly receive the Minister and host this important engagement with our management and staff. His interaction with the team was both inspiring and timely, as he emphasized performance, accountability, and the need to deliver measurable impact.

His message resonated clearly with all of us: the work we do at MDF is critical, and the time to achieve even greater results is now.

This visit has reignited a strong sense of purpose across our team. We remain fully committed to deepening our impact in mining communities, promoting responsible mining practices, and delivering tangible success stories for the people we serve.

At the 2026 Association of Women in Mining Africa Leadership Awards in Cape Town, South Africa, I delivered a clear call to action: women in mining must be intentionally equipped and financially empowered to thrive in the sector.

I emphasized that beyond recognition, we must commit to providing women with the technical skills, access to capital, and institutional support necessary to fully participate and lead within the mining industry.

During my address at the Association of Women in Mining Africa Leadership Awards and Conference 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa, I commended the visionary policy of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to establish a Women’s Development Bank dedicated to financing women entrepreneurs.

This bold initiative represents a strategic commitment to unlocking the full economic potential of women, particularly within key sectors such as mining. By creating targeted financial pathways for women, we are not only advancing inclusion but accelerating national growth and long term prosperity.
