🇪🇸🎬🇹🇬 On the occasion of the EU–Togo Political Dialogue held on 9 June, and coinciding with the European Film Festival in Lomé with Togo Créatif, Spain was honoured to participate as the Festival’s Guest of Honour. For the event, we chose to screen “Campeones”, a heartwarming film about diversity and opportunities 👏

We were also delighted to celebrate the fruitful collaboration between Spanish and Togolese artists through the film “Mis alas te protegerán” 👀

A very special thank you to our Honorary Consul, Vicky Varindani, who made all of this possible, and to the Spanish community in Togo and friends who joined us for the screenings and the official reception we held!

Grateful to Fundación LaLiga and the Amputee Football Association of Ghana for an inspiring experience exploring how technology is driving inclusion in sport 🙌⚽

Taking advantage of the Equality League week of we added inclusivity to the discussion in a panel of experts highlighting the work of , .ghana and Dr. Claude Fifi Hayford of 🤝

We also witnessed the excitement of paralympic football in action, perfectly timed with the watch party of El Clásico 🇪🇸🔥

🇪🇸🎵🇬🇭 Two days later… and we’re still feeling it.

Hola Accra! gave us a week to remember. On Thursday, we had the opportunity to host a music industry workshop at Gramophone Center to exchange and foster new connections between artists and professionals. 🤝

On Friday, we gave it all on the dancefloor 🔥 From the incredible performances by Hyskuul Band, Akablay and Abiza Band and the whole-female band Lipstick Queens, showcasing the richness and diversity of Ghana’s music scene, to the vibrant show brought by Mucho Mungo and their collaboration with DJ Jupitar, the night was a celebration of rhythm and cultural fusion. ✨

A huge thank you to MUSIGA and Globe Productions for the organisation, thanks to our sponsors Coca-Cola, EA Sports, La Liga, Spanish Chamber of Commerce, GB Foods and Tale Beers for making this possible, and to everyone who came, danced and shared this moment with us. We’re still smiling!

🇪🇦👥🇬🇭 Throwback to when H.E. Ambassador Lossada continued his journey across Ghana with a warm and memorable visit to the Eastern Region.

He was honoured to be welcomed by the Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III, the Paramount Chief of the New Juaben Traditional Area, where a durbar was held in his honour 🏛.

He also held fruitful discussions with the Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Rose Adjei Awatey, exploring new opportunities for collaboration🤝.

🎓A highlight of the trip was his lecture at the Koforidua Technical University, kindly hosted by Dr. Eduafo, also known as Nana Kwasi Boama, the Apesemakahene of the New Juaben Traditional Area, who extended the invitation that made this visit possible. Engaging with students and faculty offered meaningful exchanges on partnership, innovation, and education.

To round off an inspiring trip, the Ambassador was delighted to meet with members of the Spanish community in Koforidua, sharing experiences and reaffirming our commitment to supporting them wherever they are in Ghana 🌍.

✨️Thank you Koforidua for the warm welcoming!

🇪🇸⛏️🇬🇭 Following the regional discussions held in Kumasi and Takoradi, the Embassy of Spain in Ghana has given its support to the national Dialogue Workshop on the Safety and Security Ecosystem of Illegal Mining in Ghana, organised by The Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, Accra Ghana in Accra last week.

These workshops have brought together important stakeholders to discuss the drivers and consequences of illegal mining across Ghana 📣, while creating an inclusive space for dialogue and community-driven approaches to security.

And, why does this matter to Spain? 🤔 For us, cooperation and security go hand in hand, and supporting efforts to address illegal mining is an important contribution to broader stability in the Sahel and the Gulf of Guinea 🤝. Spain and Ghana are proud to work together towards these shared goals, promoting peace, institutional resilience and sustainable development.

We thank the KAPITC for its strong commitment to this cause and hope this initiative will contribute to Ghana’s already existing efforts in the fight against galamsey.
