🕸️📚🇬🇭Founders’ Day at e-Ananse.

Today, e-Ananse hosts the Builders Summit 2026, presented by The BLAC Moment, as part of our ongoing commitment to positioning the library as a space for ideas, dialogue, and community.

Under the theme We Are All Building Something, the summit brings together founders, creatives, educators, entrepreneurs, community leaders and professionals to consider building not simply as an outcome, but as a process. For e-Ananse, hosting this gathering is an extension of what a library can be: an active civic and intellectual space where people exchange ideas to imagine what comes next.

🕸️📚🇬🇭 e-Xcerpt Friday with Cyleane Quansah

For this edition of e-Xcerpt Friday, we present an excerpt from To Tear The Wings Off A Butterfly, the debut work by Ghanaian author Cyleane Ewura Ama Quansah.
Written at the age of 12, the book has recently been accepted and listed by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association (SFWA), marking an important milestone in the young author’s emerging literary practice.

In this reading, Cyleane offers a glimpse into the world she has created and into a developing voice engaging imagination, technology, and questions about the future.

🕸️📚🇬🇭 From soil to seed, we explored the simple act of growing. In this shared experience, created in collaboration with KidsCanCode, our library members were invited to observe, touch and experiment, discovering nature through play and making.

The goal was to help the children explore seeds, soil, and the processes that allow something small to take root and grow.

🕸️🎙️🇬🇭 TONIGHT at e-Ananse — Live with Ko-Jo Cue

There are some conversations that begin with a song. This evening, e-Ananse invites you into one of those conversations.

In partnership with Songs in Conversation, join us for an intimate evening with Ghanaian rapper and storyteller Ko-Jo Cue, as we explore the songs, stories, ideas, and experiences behind the music.

Ko-Jo Cue has built a body of work that moves comfortably between the personal and the cultural—between sharp observation, vulnerability, humour, memory, and the realities of contemporary Ghanaian life. This conversation is an opportunity to slow down and listen differently: not only to the songs themselves, but to the worlds that produced them.
