Dr Mahamudu Bawumia writes;

I had the pleasure of walking with thousands of enthusiastic members of our party and Ghanaians, in Kwahu Mpraeso, in the Eastern Region, this morning.

The well-attended walk was also graced by some Ministers of State, NPP National Chairman, Stephen Ayesu Ntim, NPP General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, some national, regional and constituency executives, as well as a number of MPs and PC's from the Eastern Region.

At the end of the walk, I addressed the charged crowd and highlighted our party's superior record in many sectors and declared our readiness to work very hard to build on our achievements and move Ghana to a future of promise and possibilities through our determination to break the 8.

This visit allowed us to engage in discussions about Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's vision and the impressive achievements of President Akuffo Addo's NPP-led government.

We must ensure our Zongo community members are well-informed about these achievements, so we prioritize offering accurate information and enlightening the Zongo communities. This will enable them to have a clear understanding of the reality and truth of the progress made by the government.

We have a crucial objective of informing our fellow citizens in the Zongo communities throughout Ghana about the ineffectiveness of the NDC as an alternative. There is a misconception that the NPP holds hostility towards Muslims, but this perception lacks any substantial evidence to support it.

Today, the NPP has presented an exceptional leader, who not only identifies as a Muslim but also demonstrates it through their actions and practices. This individual is capable of maintaining Ghana's progress and propelling us to new heights.

This is what the NPP stands for. Let us put more exertion to change and break the 8 with Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia as our flagbearer.
