The Interior Minister, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak, yesterday commissioned Cadet Intake 19 of the Ghana Immigration Service, on behalf of the President of the Republic, during a graduation parade at the Immigration Service Academy, Assin Foso.

He congratulated the newly commissioned Officers and charged them to uphold the core values of the Service.

Present at the ceremony were the Central Regional Minister, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, the Chief Director of the Ministry of Interior, the President and Paramount Chief of Affutakwa Traditional Area (Assin Foso), the Comptroller-General of Immigration, the Director-General of Narcotics Control Commission, Senior Security Officials, foreign diplomats, the clergy and other stakeholders of the Service.

Cadet Officer (now Assistant Superintendent of Immigration) Kekeli Ofosu emerged as the Overall Best Cadet Officer.

CGI Samuel Basintale Amadu received a high-level delegation from ADB, led by the Deputy MD, Professor Ferdinand Ahiakpor, to GIS Headquarters, Accra.

The meeting focused on building stronger partnerships, exploring new avenues for collaboration, and sharing ideas to benefit both institutions and their staff.

With the CGI were his two Deputy Comptroller-Generals, Mr. Laud Affrifah, in charge of Operations, Mr. Philip Peter Andoh, in charge of Legal as well as DCOI Evelyn Lostu, the Financial Controller.

1. It has been noted that some applicants despite being selected at the online stage of the application process have not received messages for the body selection and documents authentication stage of the process, such individuals are to call us now.
