Inspecting Road Improvements in Bogoso

Hon. Mathew Ayeh (MCE), together with his entourage, yesterday visited the ongoing reshaping and spot improvement works from the Bogoso Police Station through Golden Hotel to Prestea Junction.

The inspection formed part of efforts to ensure quality work and timely completion of the project, aimed at improving mobility and easing transportation challenges within the area.

Hon. Ayeh interacted with the engineers on site and urged them to maintain high standards while fast-tracking the work to bring relief to residents and road users.

Promoting Enterprise, Celebrating Innovation

Hon. Mathew Ayeh (MCE) proudly joined the maiden edition of Wassaman Donkomi trade fair in Bogoso, an initiative aimed at showcasing and supporting local businesses.

The event highlighted the dedication and creativity of entrepreneurs from within and beyond the municipality. Hon. Ayeh engaged with exhibitors, exchanged ideas, and encouraged them to keep pushing boundaries. In a show of support, he also purchased a variety of products on display.

He further applauded the organizers for creating such a valuable platform to promote trade, networking, and economic empowerment.

TWO PRODUCTIVE DAYS IN PRESTEA

The MCE, Hon. Mathew Ayeh, together with key officers of the Municipal Assembly, spent two productive days in Prestea (April 1–2) as part of efforts to bring governance closer to the people and improve service delivery.

During the visit, the MCE engaged residents and stakeholders, addressing concerns and receiving ideas for development. He also visited the Prestea Market, where traders appealed for improved security, and inspected the Prestea Sports Stadium to begin plans for its redevelopment.

The MCE expressed appreciation for the warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to people-centered leadership and development.

HAPPENING NOW

Officers are on the ground inspecting unauthorized structures and buildings without permits, as well as addressing environmental concerns.

“Stop work and Produce Permit” notices have been boldly displayed, and summons have been issued to individuals to report to the Prestea Urban Council tomorrow for assistance in regularizing their permits.

Failure to comply will result in legal action.

TEMPORARY RELOCATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES

The Prestea Huni-Valley Municipal Assembly wishes to kindly inform the general public that on Wednesday and Thursday, administrative services of the Assembly will be temporarily relocated to the Prestea Urban Council Office.

This arrangement affects key departments and units, including the Office of the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Works Department , Urban Roads Department , Physical Planning Department. Finance, Budget unit , Information Services Department Planning unit , and Social Welfare Department among others.

Members of the general public within these catchment areas who require any of our services are encouraged to visit the Prestea Urban Council Office on the stated dates for easy, efficient, and accessible service delivery.

Normal operations will resume at the main Municipal Assembly premises after this period.
