The Regional Director, Ghana Tourism Authority, Mr Joseph Appiagyei honoured the invitation to Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR) Heritage Project Launch at Nabdam District Assembly on the 14th May, 2026. The FMNR Heritage Project seeks to restore degraded lands, strengthen community resilience, and improve livelihood through sustainable natural resource management practices. It is a low-cost, sustainable land restoration technique where farmers systematically manage the regrowth of trees and shrubs from existing living stumps, roots and seeds developed by Tony Rinaudo.
Since tourism is rooted in all disciplines, notwithstanding agriculture for example agri or agro tourism. Agriculture is one of the oldest professions and can be linked to the promotion of the Black Star Experience subjected to See GH and Eat GH.
The programme was organized by World Vision and other partners.
Participants; Chiefs, Tendanas, Farmer groups, Opinion Leaders, Heads of Departments amongst others.
