Hon. Sorku Kasim Yahuza, The DCE of North Gonja District, presenting a number of life jackets to the GES directorate in Daboya.
This accordingly was done to ensure safe crossing by officers of the department on the white Volta particularly during peak water levels.
This has been a timely intervention and so, the District Education Directorate is using this platform to express their heartfelt gratitude.

The third site inspection of the Busunu-Daboya road took us to the first "box culvert" of the Daboya-Mankarigu road,Work will soon commence on this road too.
Regardless of all the challenges we going through I have never been more hopeful about Ghana's future under President Mahama, and I ask u to sustain that hope.I am not talking about blind optimism,the kind of hope that just ignore the enormity of the task ahead or the temporary road blocks that stand in our path. I am not talking about the wishful idealism that allows us to just sit on the side lines or shirk a responsibility.
My kind of hope is that immovable thing inside me that insists, despite all the evidence to the contrary, that something better awiats me so long as I have the courage to keep reaching, to keep working and to keep fighting positively.
JM, endless thanks for making me part of the history writing process of my community.You are indeed changing lives and transforming Ghana

The North Gonja District in collaboration with USAID-RING presenting some farming inputs to beneficiaries at Kagbal. The RING project which operates in 17 districts in Northern region has North Gonja as one of the beneficiaries. RING( Resiliency in Northern Ghana) is aimed at sustainably reducing poverty and improve nutrition and livelihood of the poorest Ghanaian living in the Northern Region.
The District Chief Executive (Hon. Sorku Kassim Yahuza) did the presentation on behalf of the district assembly.

The North Gonja District in ensuring open defecation free (ODF) in the district has trained artisans to help individuals and house owners to construct household latrines.
Cost of construction will be comparatively less and shall be borne by beneficiaries.
So far, 300 people have registered with the assembly for the construction.
