Why We Must Rally for Saaka Abdul Razak
Leadership is not about promises; it’s about a proven track record. Saaka Abdul Razak has already shown us what he can do. As Savannah Regional YEA Director, he didn’t just talk about jobs, he delivered them, securing roles for our youth in the Police, Fire Service, and Health sectors.
From his roots in TEIN at Damongo NTC to regional leadership, Saaka has been a consistent voice for the youth. Now, as we look toward the future of the NDC Savannah Regional Youth Wing, I urge everyone to rally behind a leader of action.
Let’s choose results. Let’s choose experience. Let’s choose Saaka Abdul Razak.✊🏾🇬🇭

To the Youth and Stakeholders of the Savannah Region,
I am writing to offer my full and unreserved support for Saaka Abdul Razak for the position of Savannah Regional Youth Organizer. My endorsement is not based on hearsay, but on the firsthand experience of working alongside him in the trenches of regional mobilization.
A Proven Partnership in Leadership
During my tenure as the TEIN Secretary at Damongo Nursing and Midwifery Training College, I had the privilege of working closely with Saaka during the intense 2024 campaign. In that high-pressure environment, I witnessed his exceptional ability to:

Mobilize with Purpose: He didn't just coordinate logistics; he inspired students and young professionals to become active participants in the political process.

Strategic Coordination: As we navigated the complexities of the 2024 campaign, his guidance was instrumental in aligning our local TEIN efforts with the broader regional goals.

Empathetic Mentorship: He understands the specific challenges faced by healthcare students and youth in Damongo, ensuring our voices were heard at the highest levels of the party.

Unwavering Resilience: Even during the most challenging moments of the campaign, his focus never wavered. He is a leader who remains calm, strategic, and motivated under pressure.

Why He is the Right Choice
The Savannah Region needs a Youth Organizer who understands the grassroots because they have lived it. Saaka Abdul Razak has proven that he is not just a leader in title, but a leader in action. His dedication to the youth of Damongo and the wider region is unmatched.
I stand with Saaka because I have seen his work ethic, his integrity, and his vision for a united Savannah youth front. He is the bridge we need between our aspirations and our achievements.

A Call to Service: Recommending Saaka Abdul Razak
For NDC Savannah Regional Youth Organizer.
To the Youth, Elders, and Delegates of the NDC, Savannah Region,
While the race for the Regional Youth Organizer position takes shape, one name remains missing from the official declarations, a name that carries the weight of proven delivery and unmatched experience. I am writing to formally recommend and call upon Saaka Abdul Razak to step forward and lead the NDC Savannah Regional Youth Wing.
Why We Are Calling for Saaka Abdul Razak.
We do not make this recommendation lightly. We make it based on the visible transformation he led during his era as the Savannah Regional YEA Director.
At a time when the youth needed a path, Saaka Abdul Razak opened doors. His legacy is not in posters, but in the careers of the many young men and women he helped place as:
Community Police Assistants
Fire Service Assistants
Prison Assistants
Community First Medical Respondents
These aren't just job titles; they are the livelihoods of hundreds of families across our Seven Constituencies. Saaka Abdul Razak proved that he doesn't just talk about "youth empowerment", he executes it.
The Leadership We Need Now
The NDC in the Savannah Region needs a Youth Organizer who:
Has a Clean Record: His tenure at YEA was marked by service, not scandal.
Has Regional Reach: He already knows the terrain of every district from Bole to Salaga.
Commanding Respect: He has the administrative maturity to sit with regional elders and the grassroots energy to lead a "march" for victory.
Our Humble Appeal
To Saaka Abdul Razak: The youth of the Savannah Region remember what you did for them at YEA. We are not just looking for a candidate; we are looking for the Architect of Youth Employment to lead us into the next election. We urge you to heed this call and declare your intention to serve.
To the Delegates: Let us support a man whose work is already speaking for him in our communities.
Signed,
[2023/2024 Damongo Nursing and Midwifery Training College TEIN Executives]

GOVERNMENT PAYS GH¢10 BILLION DDEP INTEREST

The Government of Ghana has paid GH¢10 billion in interest obligations under the Domestic Debt Exchange Programme (DDEP).

This payment marks the sixth coupon settlement under the programme and represents the second full cash payment without any Payment-In-Kind component, reflecting strengthened fiscal capacity and solvency.

The settlement covers cedi-denominated DDEP coupon obligations in line with the restructuring memorandum and Government’s broader debt management and fiscal consolidation strategy.

The timely payment sends a strong positive signal to domestic and international investors, reinforces market confidence, and is expected to support Ghana’s credit outlook while enhancing stability within the financial sector, including banks and pension funds.

Government remains fully committed to meeting future DDEP obligations, supported by strong buffers, improving macroeconomic fundamentals, declining inflation, lower interest rates, and a stable Cedi.
