The Boankra Inland port project key infrastructure in the Ejisu Municipality is steadily progressing towards completion with phase one at 65%. During an inspection at the project site the Regional Minister Hon. Frank Amoakohene, CEO of Ghana Shippers Authority Prof. Gyampoh and MCE for Ejisu Municipal Assembly Hon. Jerryne Asante were impressed with the steadily progress of work done. MCE expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done and must be sustained to avoid unnecessary delays.

Hon. Jerryne Asante, MCE for Ejisu, together with the Ejisu Education Directorate, Nananom, and staff of the Ejisu Municipal Assembly, has commissioned another six-unit classroom block, complete with an office and store, at Sarper R/C Basic School.

This milestone is another step towards improving the quality of basic education and creating a better learning environment for pupils in the community.

Investing in Education at Fumesua

Hon. Jerryne Asante, MCE for Ejisu, together with the Education Directorate, Assembly Member and Nananom, today commissioned a 6-unit classroom block with an office and store at Fumesua M/A Basic School.

The project is aimed at creating a better learning environment and strengthening basic education in the Fumesua community.

Ejisu MCE Hon. Jerryne Asante, together with the Ejisu Municipal Education Director, has donated books, erasers, mathematical sets, and other learning materials to selected schools across the Ejisu Municipality.

The donation formed part of activities marking the First Day at School held on 8 September 2026, aimed at supporting pupils and promoting quality education in the municipality.

Ejisu and Juaben MCEs Welcome Military Detachment for Accra–Kumasi Expressway Project

The Chief Executives of Ejisu and Juaben, Hon. Jerryne Asante (MCE, Ejisu) and Hon. Eunice Ohenewaa Ansu (MCE, Juaben), together with the Chief of Defence Staff, Lt. Gen. William Agyapong, welcomed the military detachment deployed to clear the Right of Way for the Accra–Kumasi Expressway.

The MCEs also presented donations on behalf of H.E. President John Dramani Mahama and the Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Dr. Frank Amoakohene, in support of the personnel undertaking this important assignment.

The Ashanti Region remains deeply grateful to the President for this landmark legacy project, which promises to transform transportation, improve connectivity and drive economic development across the region. 🇬🇭
