Today, 5th July 2026,The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sissala west, Hon. Abudu Fuseini Gbene, on behalf of the MP for Sissala west Constituency, Hon Mohammed Adams Sukparu and the party, led a delegation to attend the final Islamic Adua of the late SEIDU FATIMA ISSAKA at GBARIMA.

The delegation also attended a funeral at Kunkorgu Bakorbala to commiserate with a bereaved family.

The delegation expressed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families during this time of grief and also to show sympathy and support to the families.

Accompanying the DCE were, The Constituency Chairman, Mahamud Faisal, YEA Director, Mr Waziru Bayugo, Issaka Adams (Libya Buger), Constituency Youth organizer, Mr Saani Nuredeen, Salifu Abdul Wahid, Adama Jimakia, Hon Lappaz, Adamu Marwiah Bakuoru, Constituency, Zonal and Branch executives of the great NDC.

Today, 4th July 2026,The Health Insurance Manager for Sissala west, Mr Saani Nuredeen, led a delegation to mourn with the following communities :

They conveyed the heartfelt condolences of Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu, MP for Sissala west constituency, Hon. Abudu Fuseini Gbene, DCE for Sissala west and the party to the bereaved families.

DCE Attend Funerals at Sorbelle, Gwollu and Dasima.

The District Chief Executive for Sissala west, Hon. Abudu Fuseini Gbene, on behalf of the Member of Parliament for Sissala West Constituency, Hon.Mohammed Adams Sukparu and the party, on Sunday, 28th June, 2026, attended three funerals in the following communities, Sorbelle , Gwollu and Dasima respectively.

At the funerals, Hon. Gbene joined family members, traditional leaders and community members to commiserate with the bereaved families and express his heartfelt condolences on behalf of the MP and the entire NDC party.

He was accompanied by, YEA Director, Mr Waziru Bayugo, Mohammed NDC, Health Insurance Manager, Mr Saani Nuredeen, Deputy Regional Treasurer, Mr Kancho Amin, Adama Jimakia, Gbene Sakibu, Zonal and Branch executives of the great NDC.

K-STARS PRESENTS SISSALA PREMIER LEAGUE TROPHY TO DCE AND GWOLLU PARAMOUNT CHIEF

Today, 26th June 2026, the management of K-STARS Football Club embarked on a thank-you tour following their victory in the just ended SISSALA PREMIER LEAGUE (SPL).
The delegation first called on Hon. Abudu Fuseini Gbene, District Chief Executive for Sissala west, in his office.
The DCE congratulated the team for the historic win and assured them of the Assembly’s continued support for sports and youth development.

The team later presented the trophy to the Paramount Chief of the Gwollu Traditional Area, KUORO BAJOR DANIEL LIMANN V at his Palace.

The Chief commended the team for their excellence and urged them to remain disciplined ambassadors of the Gwollu Traditional Area.
He offered prayers and blessings for their future competitions.

Yesterday, 15th June 2026, The District Chief Executive for Sissala west, Hon. Abudu Fuseini Gbene, on behalf of the MP for Sissala west constituency, Hon Mohammed Adams Sukparu and the party, led a delegation to visit Hajia Hilla Amamata at her residence in Gwollu, following her safe return from Mecca after performing Hajj.

Hajia Hilla Amamata is the mother of Issaka Adams (Libya Buger).

The DCE congratulated her on the successful completion of the sacred pilgrimage and prayed that Allah accepts her Hajj.

The delegation include: Health Insurance Manager, Mr Saani Nuredeen, Adama Jimakia, Gbene Sakibu, Fuseini Sumako, Adamu Marwiah Bakuoru, Pangto Danchaka.
