Good morning fellow Patriots.

I wish to reach out to you all this morning as we wait rather impatiently to receive the President's nominations for our various MMDAS.
We have waited long enough and as expected, not every applicants will be selected and not every interest will be met.
The President is the sole appointor and he alone has the prerogative to select those who must help him deliver on his mandate and transformational agenda.
The opportunity to serve is therefore a privilege and not a DO OR DIE affair.
I wish to urge all of us to accept the President's nominations and work collectively towards their confirmation by our various Assemblies.
There always will be a better tomorrow. The longer we stay in power, the greater the opportunities and the chance for us all to take our turn. Let's eschew acrimony and rancor. There will be no winners nor losers in this process. Those who will be nominated will need the prayers and support of all of us to succeed.
I wish to congratulate all the nominees in advance and to pledge my support to help push them through the confirmation process. I also urge us all to be measured, magnanimous and gracious in our reactions to the nominations later today.

On Wednesday, 7th April 2021, the president cut sod for the commencement of construction of the "Ghana Award House" - a new administrative building for the Head of State Award Scheme.

Since its inception in 1967, the Award Scheme has challenged and touched the lives of many young Ghanaians. Not only has the Scheme challenged them to find their true purpose, passion and place, but it has also enhanced the employability skills and competencies, giving them the opportunity to serve the nation in various voluntary capacities.

Ghana will be the second country in Africa, after the Presidents’ Award of Kenya, and one of the few countries globally, to have its own administrative office.

Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, today presented a customised Real Madrid jersey to President Akufo-Addo as his birthday present to the Ghanaian leader. The jersey was autographed by several players of Real Madrid.

Col. Kwadwo Damoah as the commissioner of customs took it upon himself to educate and remind shareholders, (Importers, Agents, Exporters and etc) via radio about their duties and customs responsibilities towards them. Currently, he's in the Ashanti Region on this exercise. He's the man under whose tenure as commissioner that, 12 Brand New TOYATA Hillux Pick-Ups were procured and supplied to custom stations for operations. The stations are; Aflao, Elubo, Sunyani, Oti, Koforidua, Bolgatanga, Tamale, Wa, and Takoradi. This was done with the support of DANIDA (Danish Development Agency). Such an exemplary leadership. May God bless him for such a historic achievements in the custom division.
