Our athletics team has achieved incredible success so far, winning 5 gold medals at the ongoing 2026 Volta Regional Inter-District Basic Schools Festival in Akatsi!

Medalists include:
1. Gold in the 5000m boys
2. Gold in javelin boys
3. Gold in the 800m girls
4. Gold in the 400m girls
5. Gold in the 4×400m girls

: Dr. (Med) Robert Doh, National Youth Commissioner, Pro Forum, sent a delegation to present a cash gift in support of the Directorate’s preparations towards the upcoming 2026 Volta Regional Inter-Districts Sports Festival scheduled at Akatsi.

MDE, Esther Yeboah-Adzimah (Ed.D) representing management and the Directorate appreciated the gesture and called on other stakeholders to emulate and support the Directorate in their activities.

🏃‍♂️🏅 MP SUPPORTS HO MUNICIPAL CONTINGENT FOR 2026 INTER-DISTRICT SPORTS FESTIVAL

In a wonderful show of support for sports and education in the municipality, the Member of Parliament for Ho, Hon. Edem Kpotosu has presented 100 sets of tracksuits and a cash donation of GHC5,000 to the Ho Municipal Education Directorate to bolster preparations of the directorate's contingent ahead of the 2026 Annual Volta Region Inter-District Basic Schools Sports Festival, scheduled to be held in Akatsi.

Receiving the generous gesture on behalf of the Directorate, the Municipal Director of Education, Esther Yeboah-Adzimah (Ed.D), warmly expressed appreciation to the MP for his continued investment in the development of learners within the municipality while also calling on him and other well-meaning stakeholders to extend even more support to the cause.

A contingent of 164 students and 20 staff have been in camp, putting in the hard work and preparation needed to give a strong account of Ho Municipality on the regional stage.

To our athletes, coaches, and support staff you carry the pride and colours of Ho Municipality. Go out there, compete with heart, and bring home the medals! 🏆🥇🏅
