Dear People of Navrongo,

I urge you to cast your vote for H.E. John Dramani Mahama and Hon. Simon Aworigo in the upcoming elections. The National Democratic Congress (NDC) presents a comprehensive set of policies designed to uplift our community and strengthen our economy.

Among these initiatives are the 24-Hour Economy initiative, which aims to enhance productivity, and the Women Development Bank, which will empower women entrepreneurs. The Big Push initiative is set to drive infrastructure development, while Free Primary Health Care will ensure that every child has access to essential health services.

The NDC is also dedicated to providing Free Tertiary Education for individuals with disabilities and has introduced the No Fees Stress initiative, which waives non-academic fees for all first-year tertiary students. Furthermore, the National Apprenticeship Programme will create opportunities for skill development among our youth.

We are excited about initiatives like the Adwumawura Programme, which will support job creation, and the One Million Codes Programme, aimed at equipping our youth with digital skills. The establishment of Farmers’ Services Centres and the creation of Agro-Industrial Zones will bolster our agricultural sector, while plans to upgrade the Navrongo War Memorial Hospital will enhance healthcare services in our community.

These initiatives, along with many others, are crucial for rescuing our economy and building a prosperous future for all of us.

When you go to the polls, remember to vote Number 8 for H.E. John Dramani Mahama and Number 2 for Hon. Simon Aworigo.

Once the Notice of Polls is issued and the printing of ballot papers begins, the positions of the candidates are set. Even in the unfortunate event of a candidate’s demise or withdrawal, it will not alter the positions of the other candidates. Their names and pictures will still appear on the printed ballots.

Ignore the Chairman Wontumi likes in the NPP who are jubilating that NDC will move from Number 8 on the ballot.

We are focused on the task ahead.

The next NDC/Mahama government will introduce a No-Academic-Fee” policy for all first-year students in public tertiary institutions under the No-Fees-Stress initiative within its first 90 days in office.

This policy will apply to all first-year students in Universities, Technical Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, and Nursing Training Institutions, among others.
