A week ago I joined the good people of South Tongu for the Easter festivities. It was a deeply moving experience that allowed me to connect with the heart of the constituency and share in the profound significance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Beyond the spiritual solemnity of the season, these moments of fellowship provided a vital platform to engage directly with the good people of the district, listening to their concerns and offering words of hope.

I took the opportunity to reflect on our collective journey and encouraged my fellow constituents to remain steadfast in their support for the government’s key initiatives, emphasizing that national progress is a shared responsibility.

Celebrating this season of renewal among the people I once served was a powerful reminder that our strength lies in unity and a common commitment to the development of South Tongu.

Some of the places I visited include Sokpe, Agordome, Wlorto, Detsawome, Dabala junction, Hleve, Larve Galo Sota, Kpoviedzi Godzekpota etc.

In response to requests from headteachers across the South Tongu District, I tasked my team to donate sets of jerseys and footballs to selected basic schools as part of efforts to support sports development in the constituency.

This initiative reflects my commitment to listening to the needs of educators and investing in the holistic development of young people, recognizing sports as a vital tool for nurturing talent, building confidence, and fostering unity among students in the district.

The beneficiary schools include:
Agbakope RC Basic School, Danyikpo Basic School, Agbagorme Basic School, Xikpo Basic School, Tordzinu Basic School, Tsavanya Basic School, Dorkplame Basic School, Danyikpo Circuit. Agave PCG DA Basic, Agbeve RC DA Basic, Hlevi DA Basic, Agbadzakope DA Basic, Dzebetato DA Basic, and Dzetorkoe DA Basic School.
